About Walla Walla Housing Authority

Walla Walla Housing Authority was established by a Walla Walla City Resolution, November 8, 1972. It is an independent public corporation. The Mayor of the City of Walla Walla appoints six members to the Board of Commissioners, one of which is a resident. The Commissioners serve staggered five-year terms. The Board meets monthly and participates in scheduled workshops as required. They establish the mission, goals, and policies for the organization.

Our mission is to create housing choices and energize neighborhoods, while focusing on providing opportunities for families of low to moderate income to prosper with dignity and respect.

Through vital community partnerships, the Walla Walla Housing Authority is able to provide affordable housing opportunities and essential housing programs that assist families to achieve their personal and economical goals.
